For over 11 years now, we have sent “present truth packages” all over the world. The above picture is of our Kenya representatives after they received their package.
In Matthew 9:37-38, we read —
“Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest trulyis plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Brother Wilfred (Top left) has been an active member of our Facebook group “Truth Tellers” for over 10 years now. He has been led, through our ministry with the power of the Lord’s Spirit to accept the message and “work” in the Lord’s vineyard. He has decided to be one of the “few” to do the great harvest work for our SDA church.
Since Truth Tellers began in Sept. 2011, we have sent over a hundred packages to brethren all over the world, and seeds have been planted. It is such a true joy to see that the message of the hour is being spread!
Our brother has about 10 faithful believers in his small Kenya group now and they are growing as the message spreads in Kenya.
“Now is the time to quit fooling ourselves, to make up our minds to wholeheartedly serve the Lord, and Him alone. How do I know that the great day of the Lord is almost here?—I know it because the announcement of it is here already, and because the message of the marking that is foretold in Ezekiel’s chapter nine, the work of the Judgment, is already making its waythroughout the Adventist world. I know it also because the material for the glory that follows immediately thereafter (the material that is to lighten the earth with the glory of the angel, the Loud Cry—Rev. 18:1) is all ready and waiting.” (1 TG, no. 5, p.12)
As many of our TT members are now part of our “Pre 11th hour Ministry” we ask for prayers to be able, by God’s grace, to continue to work in His vineyard while our SDA probation lasts.

Recently we viewed the latest interview of one of the pioneers of the old Mt. Carmel camp, brother Dudley Goff. It was a two-part series where brother Goff gave stories of his experiences on the camp. He also dealt with the Waco disaster.
In Jerimiah 17:5 we read —
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.”
As we viewed this interview, we kept hearing this passage over and over again! Sadly our dear brother exhibited a classic example of what happens when you trust in flesh and make that your strength instead of the Lord.
You see brother Goff was very close to Florence Houteff, the two worked hand and hand once the death of the prophet had occurred. Goff, was much younger than Florence at the time, and became her number one student and follower, it appears. Instead of holding onto the message of the Lord, the “Rod”, Dudley leaned upon Florence.
As he himself discloses the prophecy that Florence and her council brought (the April 22 Ezek. 9 occurrence) did not occur and as such he became discouraged and left the movement. “We were wrong” Goff said, and then threw up his hands, walked away and never went back. When asked where that April 22 prophecy came from by an excellent interviewer Catherine Wessinger, he responded ” I don’t know”. Amazing!
Now, think about this, where would we as SDA be if our forefathers had done this same thing, walk away after the great disappointment of Miller’s prophecy in 1844? EGW and all the other SDA pioneers threw up their hands and said “we quit!”. Where would the SDA church be today– NOWHERE!
No, they buckled down and PLEADED with the Lord to know WHY they had failed they did not give up! Just as Joshua did back in the old times.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who lovehim.” (James 1:12)
Had brother Goff stuck to the message and truly believed it, the Spirit of Truth would have called to remembrance that God prophesied through the prophet the very April 22 disaster, terming it a “knockout blow” in the following inspired writings.
“Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day.” (WHR, p.33)
Now there is a silver lining in all this, brother Goff has preserved much material from back in the day, and by God’s grace, some brethren will receive it and publish it for ALL to be blessed. Pictures, old literature, etc are in his possession still.
We ask, once more, for prayers for him as he is very old now, 92, and time is short obviously. We find him extremely likable and only want him to repent and come back into the fold! What a BLESSING he would be if he came back to “take up our work once more” (Testimonies, vol. 7, p.17)
As the Lord often does, His promise of John 16:13 fills us with a new and clearer understanding of His word.
Just such an occurrence happened this week. As we sometimes do, we were watching an online sermon on the Tithes and the speaker started to talk about the experience of the little old lady with her two mites. As I listened it occurred to me that we missed the greatest grace/limbo given to God’s people in our last post –the time of our King! Let us look into this.
The Jewish church in the time of our King, had certainly gone off into the wrong tract at the time the Lord made these praiseful comments —
“And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.” (Luke 21:1-4)
This has many lessons for us, an important one which is this —
Notice that Jesus is commending this old lady for giving all she had to a church that was against Him! They had repeatedly rejected Him as a true prophet of God. His Truth was something they didn’t accept. Little did they know that they were dealing with the Son of God! Yet what did Jesus do? He still SUPPORTED returning Tithes to that church. So what lesson can we gather here?
Basically, although Jesus had the Truth, the fact remains that regardless of this, He bore patiently with them, giving them a grace limbo period to come into line with the Truth. His patience during that period lasted until Stephen was stoned. In other words, it lasted about another year after the death of our King. The total would be approx. 4 and half years of grace /limbo period!
One may ask — Ok, but Judas was treasurer of Christ’s ministry, showing that they accepted Tithes and offerings during that time, what about that?
Yes, true. But the fact remains that although Jesus did not turn down the money for His ministry, He still approved the Tithes and offerings going to the faulty church. Thus today Pre-11th Hour Ministry, likewise will not turn down Tithes and offerings during this grace/limbo period. Let us remember just as we showed in the previous post, our ministry is still (as of now) to be considered a part of Mt. Dale in a spiritual aspect (spiritually striving with them in hopes of reconciliation).
Thus we see that down through time starting with our King’s ministry on earth, God has provided time to come into line with His Truth. The Headquarters/Tithes remain with the faulty organization for a period of time, until the time allotted is over, and the Lord transfers the “candlestick” to His Truth-filled organization. This transfer will be done soon unless our beloved brethren at Mt. Dale take heed, learn from history, and make decided repentance and turn from falsehood and embrace the Truth. Time is allotted for this and is in accordance with the first example of our King.
PRAY for Mt. Dale during this period! Pre-11th Hour Ministry would love nothing more than –reconciliation.
“This truth has been repeatedly illustrated in the history of the church….many of the professed followers of Christ refused to receive the light from heaven, and, like the Jews of old, knew not the time of their visitation. Because of their pride and unbelief, the Lord passed them by, and revealed His truth to those who, like the shepherds of Bethlehem and the Eastern magi, had given heed to all the light they had received.” — The Great Controversy, pp. 598, 372, 316. (Tract 4, p.52)

Since the prophet Victor Houteff released of the very first Rod book, Shepherd’s Rod volume 1, the God-appointed storehouse history has experienced what we call “limbo periods” or otherwise stated — grace periods. In other words, the storehouse of God was involved in clear spiritual trouble/disobedience from within, so serious that it caused God to relocate it. However the eastward course, prophetically had to be followed per His prophetic Word in Ezekiel chapter 47 and confirmed by the prophet.
“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.” (Rev. 14:4)
Our Lamb has taken us on a journey, complete with success and failures, twists, turns, splits, and regrouping. But ultimately the eastward course to the Kingdom!
“In reviewing our past history, having traveled over every step of our advance to our present standing, I can say Praise God! As I can see what God has wrought, I am filled with astonishment, and with Christ as our leader. We have nothing to fear for the future except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us.” (TM, p.31)
Let us now look back into these periods to keep abreast of the Lord’s leading His people and why the changes were necessary.
We shall look at the four DSDA grace/limbo periods:1 — SDA Storehouse to DSDA storehouse
2 — Mt. Carmel Waco storehouse to 100% Rod group storehouse
3 — Salem storehouse to MountainDale storehouse
4 — Mountaindale’s current grace/limbo period
Period 1, SDA storehouse to DSDA storehouse —
In 1930 the Lord began His final message of Elijah predicted in Malachi 4:5
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord”
Brother Houteff then published Shepherd’s Rod, volume one. This fulfilled the prophetic timetable of Ezekiel 4. Yet, the SDA church was in the dark for many years since the prophetess went to sleep in 1915. Then the SDA church was faced with either acceptance of this new Rod light or a rejection of it. We all know the outcome.
This rejection was predicted by the prophetess —
“The third angel’s message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory.” (RH, May 27, 1890)
“There is to be in the churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it.
Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations, they will oppose the work. “Why,” they say, “should not we know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years?”—Because they did not respond to the warnings, the entreaties of the messages of God, but persistently said, “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.”(RH, Dec. 23, 1890)
Indeed, the SDA leaders felt the Lord was not working “according to their ideas and expectations” therefore despite the pleadings of the prophet, they refused to come in one with the Lord’s message of Elijah.
Despite this, the Lord patiently waited on the rejectors, giving them time to come back in line with the Lord, for example we read the following —
“In case some one’s name should be taken off the church books for carrying on the message, do not be discouraged in any way but press onward as though nothing has happened. Pay your honest tithe and offering to your church, and feel like “IT IS” your Father’s house. Continue your work of reform with as many as you can possibly interest.” (Srod, vol. 1, p.251)
This patience lasted roughly 5 years before the Lord made His announcement through the Rod in Sym. Code, vol. 1, no. 5, page 9, in November of 1934. The Storehouse was now changed! The SDA church failed to come into line with God’s Truth.
“The instruction in the SRod, Vol. 1, p. 251, regarding tithe, proves that we have payed our honest part all the way. It says that the tithe should be paid to the old S.D.A organization. But now since the leading part of the denomination has rejected the sealing message of the 144,000 and is passing on to the people a pseudo refutation of its subject matter to justify their actions, doing all they can to prevent the people from coming in contact with the message, the action of the SRod in calling not only for the tithe but also for the offerings to be brought in for the support of the message of present truth is Divinely approved and justified, for present truth has always constituted God’s “storehouse.” (SC, vol. 1, no.5, p.9)(1934)
Again in Tract 4, p.66-
“The instructions in The Shepherd’s Rod, Vol. 1, p. 251, “Pay your honest tithe and offering to your church, and feel that ‘IT IS’ your Father’s house,” came near the close of 1930, before the leading brethren, as a denomination, had rejected the sealing message. Clearly, then, The Shepherd’s Rod has faithfully discharged its duty in refusing to accept any tithes or offerings until after the books were scattered throughout the denomination, and after the brethren began bitterly to oppose the message. Now, though, since the opposition is no longer passive, but intensely active, and the proclamation of the message supremely urgent, the only course open is apparent. It will take an army of workers, including the tithes and offerings, to reach the people.”
This first grace/limbo period was approximately 5 years. The transfer of headship of the Lord’s church appears to be Nov. 1934, and this was also right after the leading SDA brethren rejected brother Houteff’s teachings at their Los Angeles meeting in early 1934. No doubt that despite this waiting period, some believers nevertheless sent in their tithes and offerings during that 5 year period to the DSDA movement (and was accepted as shown in Sept. 1934 code –Vol. 1, no. 3, p,5), but the legal notice of transfer, as far as we can tell, was in Nov. 1934 in the Code announcement.
Period 2, Mt. Carmel Waco to 100% Rod-only group —
Florence Houteff took over leadership almost immediately upon the death of the prophet on Feb. 6, 1955. In fact, the callous way she took over was almost beyond belief!
A hastily called meeting was arranged for her to take the headship of the movement and also to discuss her personal financial arrangements and was certainly a BAD START in the Rod movement after the death of the prophet. We read the details as follows —
GENERAL ASSOCIATION OF DAVIDIAN SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS MT. CARMEL CENTER
WACO, TEXAS
February 6, 1955 To the Exective Council:
I am requesting by this letter that the Council convene for the purpose of considering and passing a resolution on the follo~ng requests made by V. T. Houterr before his death:
(1) That in case of V. T. Houteff’s death which would automatically leave vacant the office of President, Mrs. Florence Houter! be appointed to fill the office of Vice President;
(2) That someone be appointed to succeed Ms. Florence Florence Houteff as Secretary;
(3) That T. O. Hermanson be appointed a member of the Executive Council;
(4) That the Council make a resolution to provide for the welfare of Mrs. Florence Houte!! as long as she lives.

Notice it was the VERY NEXT DAY (Feb. 6) that she wanted a meeting to discuss business! The body was not even cold yet!
But despite this, the Lord still had the DSDA Mt. Carmel organization as the official storehouse at this time. No change was announced in this regard. So rightfully many continued to send in their tithes and offerings to the storehouse, but as we know, soon the whole movement would be upended.
Fast forward to April 22, 1959. This is the day that the Rod , which had been placed on the Altar by Florence and her council, took a BIG hit spiritually speaking. This action was prophesied by the prophet a few years before —
“Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day.” (WHR, p. 33)
So it appears that this date, April 22, 1959, was to set in motion the grace/limbo time clock for the Waco Mt. Carmel organization to “right the ship” as it were. However, instead of correcting the situation, the leaders, sunk the ship down further! Florence and her council soon decided that the message was to go to the world and not just Davidians. They falsely believed that the prophet had somehow forgotten to send this message to the world at large! A giant fiasco!
This grace/limbo period lasted for approximately 2 and a half years. In August of 1961, the 100% Rod-only DSDA organization, through the Symbolic Code made the following announcement –
“A MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT..
To you whom the Lord would seal first
Again it is our joy to salute you, our faithful Davidian brethren, as we all now return to our heaven-appointed task in Laodicea (The SDA Church), of gathering the 144,000 first fruits. Scattered throughout the denomination, which is God’s appointed place for them in His great vineyard … It is, unfortunately, the failure of too many Davidians to drink thus of the Truth, which has left them unable, apparently, to discern the truth at any point. Most notably, they are unable to discern the fact that The Leviticus ordains Constitutional Association and that the message is to go now only to Laodicea–the S. D. A. Church.”
Thus we see that the Lord announced important injunctions in this 1961 relocation of His storehouse. His people were to “return” to the job He gave them and there was to be a “Constitutional Association”, and not everyone doing their own thing answering to no one and making their own home a storehouse, a thing forbidden according to 4 Answerer, p. 44. Constitutional order per the Leviticus, was God’s method of the work going forward.
An important note to bring up at this point is the question of the eastward course. It appears that the prophesied “Knock out blow” required a regrouping of His people to properly recover from such a disaster in Texas. So , as far as we can discern, this “temporary” retreat was authorized by the Lord and sanctioned. Soon the storehouse would assemble in Salem, and the course would resume.
Period 3 — Salem storehouse to Mountaindale storehouse
After about 10 years in southern California, the Calif. group decided to move the storehouse headquarters to Salem, South Carolina. Not all were on board with this transfer, but many decided, upon a re-study of Ezekiel 47 prophecy, that an eastward course was to be resumed. The official announcement came in July of 1971.
For several years the Lord’s storehouse headquarters got down to business, printing the literature and spreading the message throughout the world. Brother Don Adair, was, as many know the leader during this tenure at Salem.
“We are happy to announce that on September 4, 1971, we received the Charter from the State of South Carolina. This is the culmination of about fourteen months work with both South Carolina and California legal authorities in obtaining the necessary legal procedure for the clear title to a Charter. We, the Council believe the Lord has led and the way is open to republish religious literature. Our chief aim is to print the Shepherd’s Rod message as given by Bro. V.T. Houteff. Publishing is to be done under the above name –“The General Association of Davidian Seventh-day Adventists.” (10 Sym. Code, no. 2, July-September , 1971, p.9)
During 1973 to 1975 Adair traveled to Jamaica, Barbados and St. Lucia. Many new brethren were converted to the message and joined Salem. Many of these brethren became leaders of Mt. Dale and Waco. Then a very pivotal study meeting occurred in 1982. Adair gave the study of “those with” to some brethren, among whom was Bro. Tony Hibbert. This study was in New York. Hibbert rejected the study as not in accordance with the message. Soon other Jamaicans and other brethren took sides on this issue. This issue was and is not a light issue because the Rod says the following —
“If we do not understand the subject of the 144,000, we may not be sealed, for it would be worthless to understand it after the sealing, just as it would be of no value to understand the beast and his image after his work on earth is finished.” (SRod, Vol. 1 p.14)
…Its dominant doctrinal concern being the truth of the 144,000, and a correct understanding of it being a life-and-death matter to all, the Rod unfolds it from several different angles, each urging the Denomination to prepare for the glorious deliverance of the saints and against the inglorious destruction of the sinners as foretokened by the marking and slaying recorded in Ezekiel 9.” (SRod Tract, p.5-6)
According to Adair’s book “A Davidian Testimony” Hibbert rose up during the study and contested it. He did not agree with “others with” the 144,000 sealed at Ezekiel 9 from the SDA church. This rejection, we believe was divine providence and Lord’s leading, as we know upon a careful study and weight of evidence that the message tells “only” 144,000 are sealed from the SDA church at Ezek. 9. And thus those who “add” or “subtract” from His Word are in eternal soul jeopardy.
This began an irreconcilable major split. Salem now declared the opposing brethren as “rebels” as Adair put it. Salem then took away their fellowship cards and told them they were no longer members of Salem and cast them out. The brethren began to meet in New York as like-minded Davidians, yet with no particular affiliated association.
This grace/limbo period was about 1 year. On May 23, 1983 The New York brethren held their first session, establishing their newly formed group. An important part of the session minutes read as follows through the DSDA official newsletter–the Symbolic Code —
“The long-awaited meeting of the world field of Davidia, met its fulfillment, when most of the delegates and brethren from the different branches convened in Brooklyn, New York, to commence what was to be an historic occasion. … A motion was made, thoroughly discussed, and unanimously passed to sever ties from the General Association of D.S.D.A Salem, South Carolina. As a consequence, another motion was made to re-establish God’s headquarters as it was in the beginning after the order of Mt. Carmel Training Center, Waco, Texas….At this juncture it was evident to all that God was leading, and that His Spirit enveloped the place.”
Soon the brethren would establish their headquarters on a large property located in Mountaindale, New York. It is their headquarters today.
Period 4 — The current grace/limbo period with Mt. Dale
After the break up with Salem, the brethren, who were mostly taught by Adair, regrouped and grew in numbers from their base in New York. But as many know, some of these brethren were led to believe that Waco was a place were the movement started and should remain there. No doubt the message describes Waco as a “permanent home”, and as such a serious discussion began for relocation.
“We are happy to announce that the headquarters office of the sealing message moved from Waco to Mt. Carmel Center on September 29 to its new and permanent home location for the proclamation of the message of the “True Witness to the Laodiceans.”—“Testimonies for the Church,” Vol. 3, p. 253” ( 1 SC, no. 16, p.1)
However, not all the Mt. Dale brethren were on board with this idea. They argued that the message has always taught that the “eastward course” would be the roadmap to the kingdom and that because New York was in this prophetic roadmap heading eastward from Salem, they could not break the prophetic vision and course and double back to Waco.
Nevertheless, a split occurred in 1991. Mt. Dale continued to push forward with the message even as Waco was re-established. Both of these associations saw growth in the years ahead. It is very important to point out here that most of the leaders from both groups were taught by Don Adair. And he taught them some controversial doctrines such as the “Assyrian confederacy”, JTT coming before Ezek. 9, an intervening time for the 144,000 before Ezek. 9, for example. The one beloved Adair doctrine of “those with” was not , however, generally accepted by Mt. Dale or Waco.
As the years went some brethren began to restudy the aforementioned doctrines and they found out that they had the “new codes” as much of their basis. In the year 2002 two Waco brethren published an in-depth report showing the error and problems with these new codes. This was submitted to the Waco leaders and was rejected and no action was taken. However this began the debate about them and so more brethren began to investigate. The issue became more exposed with the advent of computers and technology. Reports, blog posts, Facebook, emails, phone and Zoom studies were used to widen the discussion. This issue was growing as to concern about their content.
Mt. Dale decided to finally bring this issue to a head in 2022 session. The aforementioned doctrines and the new codes were to be discussed and approved or disapproved, and voted upon. But brethren such as Brother Harrison, Brother Reyes , Brother Fanis, Yours truly, among others, did not agree with the aforementioned doctrines as sound and inspired however. Votes were taken and the majority of Mt. Dale brethren voted to keep the status quo and the doctrines as taught.
The disagreeing brethren stood by inspired council —
“God has men in reserve, prepared to meet the demand, that His work may be preserved from all contaminating influences. God will be honored and glorified. When the divine Spirit impresses the mind of the man appointed by God as fit for the work, he responds, saying, “Here am I; send me.” … Nehemiah showed himself to be a man whom God could use to put down false principles and to restore heaven-born principles; and God honored him. The Lord will use in His work men who are as true as steel to principle, who will not be swayed by the sophistries of those who have lost their spiritual eyesight…We shall meet with opposition of every description, as did the builders of the walls of Jerusalem; but if we watch and pray, and work as they did, God will fight our battles for us, and give us precious victories…. We should move forward with unwavering confidence, believing that God will give to His truth great and precious victories…. Relying upon Jesus, we shall carry a convincing power with us that we have the truth.”. (Sons and Daughters, p. 213)
However, they were not prepared to leave Mt. Dale, despite the wrong decisions being made. But very soon after the session an ultimatum was sent out to the brethren who opposed the session’s doctrine decisions. Basically they were told that unless they taught the aforementioned doctrines they would be terminated and no longer employed. Upon receiving the ultimatum, the brethren sent out a letter to the concerned parties explaining their position —
“We pen this letter due to the several requests for explanation in regards to Bro’s Terry Harrison, Rene Reyes, and John Robert Posso Zuluaga, and their termination of employment with The Mountain Dale Association.
The 2022 Mountain Dale Session instituted a Unity Agreement. A form to be signed by employees of the Association agreeing to teach the Association’s positions and not to discuss or teach one’s personal beliefs in private or public. Agreement must be signed to continue employment with Mountain Dale.
The copy of the agreement that was adopted by the 2022 Session and circulated among believers, does not reflect the full intent of the Session. When the agreement was being formulated in Session, and after it was adopted by Session, the question was specifically asked if the intent was that there be no PRIVATE or Public discussions about one’s personal beliefs, and the response was YES.
Since this “AGREEMENT” infringes on One’s Religious Liberty, and results in having to VIOLATE one’s Conscience, the aforementioned brethren declined to sign said agreement. This resulted in the Mountain Dale Association terminating the employment of aforementioned brethren.
What has transpired is akin to what the Salem Association ( Bro. Don Adair ) did to those who challenged and disagreed with his teaching of “Those With the 144,000″. They were forced out and eventually formed the Mountain Dale Association.”
The Davidian movement was once again at a fork in the road. The Lamb of God was asking His people to follow Him in yet another turn of His path to the Kingdom. Soon the terminated brethren came together and discussed with prayer their next move. They had no choice but to move forward with the truth, A decision was made, the newly formed group would be called “Pre- 11th Hour Ministry”. A council was formed and the announcement went out to the DSDA field. The Ministry began to meet and plan in September and October of 2022.
In the first formal gathering of the brethren, some important decisions were made. There was agreement that for the time being, the ministry would NOT be a formal DSDA association. The point was made that the Lord would have the ministry wait upon Him, to see if our beloved Mt. Dale brethren would see the light and change course. Just as the previous 3 grace/limbo periods before them, Mt. Dale association would now enter the grace limbo period as well.
Summary —
The Lord’s Word says that the 144,00 follows the Lamb wherever He goes. Thus when we know the Lord’s history of leading our DSDA movement, we do indeed know where He goes and we follow Him in Truth. We have seen that our history has had 4 different periods of grace/limbo time in which the Lord’s mercy is extended to come into line with His Truth. Time has been given to do this, yet it is limited.
In period one we saw that the SDA church headship was taken away by a refusal to advance in the Truth. We saw in period 2 that the DSDA headship was taken away from Florence Houteff and her council due to their refusing to humble themselves and repent from their errors and mistakes. We saw in period 3, the same refusal by Salem and Don Adair and thus the headship passed to Mt. Dale. Today we know that the same historic grace/limbo period is given to Mt. Dale and we are praying and waiting for their leadership to humble themselves and repent. Pre-11th hour ministry is considered a ministry at this time during this period but soon the Lord may have to lead our ministry to the headship if a correction does not come from Mt. Dale. We urge prayer for our Mt. Dale brethren.
Unfortunately, we saw recently that Mt. Dale’s leader (along with Glenroy Matthews) continues to hold fast upon error. The message says —
“I have been shown that the greatest reason why the people of God are now found in this state of spiritual blindness is that they will not receive correction. Many have despised the reproofs and warnings given them.”(Testimonies, vol. 3, p.255)
Stanford, and thus his followers, have paid no attention to the recent 63-page New Code report –at all! Despite the report clearly showing error, tampering, adding, and subtracting within them by Florence Houteff/ Don Adair. There is NO DOUBT about this.
Yet the mixture of Truth and Error means nothing to the Mt. Dale leaders. So in order to “meet and oppose” such false teaching (according to SOP counsel — TM, p.55) we also made a counter video for the “Truth seeker”.
In 1 Selected Messages, page 37, we read the far-reaching counsel by Inspiration —
“We have many lessons to learn, and many, many to unlearn. God and heaven alone are infallible. Those who think that they will never have to give up a cherished view, never have occasion to change an opinion, will be disappointed. As long as we hold to our own ideas and opinions with determined persistency, we cannot have the unity for which Christ prayed.” ( 1 Selected Messages, p.37)
Indeed! Yours truly has an opportunity to “relearn” an understanding of the issue of Gentiles in our church. In a previous post called “Are There Any Gentiles in our Church?” on August 6, 2019.
We made the argument that the SDA church is composed of those of Jewish lineage. However, we did say at the end of that post —
“Lastly, we know in Rev. 12:17 that the Dragon brings in a flood into the church. Who is this flood? They are people not called from God! Could there be non-Israelite bloodlines in the church? Food for thought.”
As the years have passed, the Spirit of Truth has enlightened more on this issue. The specific reference that triggered a new understanding is the following —
“In the hope of destroying the woman, the serpent at first persecuted her. Failing, though, to reach his goal, he suddenly reversed his tactics. He ceased the persecution and began instead to befriend her. But at what cost to the woman! Cunningly he cast water as a flood after her, seeming to put forth a mighty effort to refresh her, when in actuality it was a mighty effort thereby to destroy her.
The figurative words of Inspiration explain that the compulsory Christianizing of the Gentiles and the pouring of them into the church during the fourth century of the Christian era, was not in reality a friendly act. Rather it was like a devastating torrent to drown the saving power of Christianity. In other words, Inspiration predicted the period in which the dragon clothed Pagan politicians in a garb of Christianity and then led them to compel the non-Christian pagans to join the church, that they might thus paganize her rather than she Christianize them….
…Let it be remembered that it is after the earth swallows the flood that the dragon is to be wroth with the woman, and “to make war with the remnant of her seed [not with her personally], which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Rev. 12:16 17. Clearly, then, there is no escaping the conclusion that the doing away with Satan’s flood is doubtless the purifying of the church, the destroying of those who have joined the church through the aid of the serpent.” (Tract 15, p.87-89)
We see that some members of our Church have been brought in by the dragon! Therefore we cannot escape the conclusion that he has brought in Gentiles who are not converted to Christ but for are joining with false pretenses and motives.
The Spirit of Prophecy adds more to our subject —
“The Lord does not now work to bring many souls into the truth, because of the church members who have never been converted and those who were once converted but who have backslidden. What influence would these unconsecrated members have on new converts? Would they not make of no effect the God-given message which His people are to bear?” (Testimonies, vol. 6, p. 370)
We see that Inspiration tells us that our church should not be as large as it is today (approx. 22 million). If the Lord has not brought in this large number, who has? “…who have joined the church through the aid of the serpent.”
In summary, yes there are obviously many unconverted in our church who consists of BOTH of the lineage of Jews and Gentiles. When we discuss the often “those with” argument —
“The 144,000 will be just Jews as per Rev. 7, but what about the Gentiles in the church?”
We can explain that, yes, there could very well be Gentiles in our church but from evidence in the message, they are the Gentiles who are unconverted. Satan has brought them in and apparently it is a “flood” meaning a truly large number. Does that mean that all the lineage Jews in the church today are converted and will be among that number? No, it does not.
It is so very sad when we see our adversary bring truly false ideas and doctrines into the minds of others. The Spirit of Prophecy states —
“These strange ideas should not even be mentioned, much less taught as essential truths. We have reached a time when things are to be called by their right name. As we did in earlier days, we must arise, and, under the Spirit of God, rebuke the work of deception.” ( 2 SLM, p.25)
Unbelievably the title of this post is basically what we heard recently from UPA7/Eric Edstrom. This brother, and he needs no introduction as to falsehood, has just about topped himself in his latest statements of twisting truth .
In his recent YouTube channel, he posted a video entitled “Pre 11th Hour Ministry: God’s next Storehouse or Rogue Madhouse?”, he has asserted a truly remarkable statement, we quote —
“When asked about what they (Pre-11th Hour Ministry) are planning to publish, all they could offer was Spanish translations. And the question is asked –Did brother Houteff publish Spanish translations or any other language? And the answer is no he did not! So these Spanish translations are total confusion and unauthorized.
Brother Houteff never left instructions to translate the Rod into another tongue. So this is a total rank apostasy. They do not count. And the argument that ‘oh well the Bible was translated to another tongue’ is totally out of context. Brother Houteff didn’t publish the Bible he published the Shepherd’s Rod and he never gave permission to translate it.
The work was complete and ready to go in his lifetime. So to tamper with it, when you do translations you introduce artifacts and people who speak bi-lingual will tell you that.” ( From video link 18:40 to 19:45 mark)
While there is much we could respond to in his latest video, and we will soon on our DSDA YouTube channel, we want to concentrate on this one area.
The counsel from the Lord is —
“Says the Spirit of Prophecy, “Close reasoners
and logical thinkers are few. ” “How many men in this age of the world fail to go deep enough. They only skim the surface. They will not think closely enough to see difficulties and grapple with them, and will not examine every important subject which comes before them with thoughtful, prayerful study, and with sufficient caution and interest to see the real point at issue. They talk of matters which they have not fully and carefully weighed. ”—“Fundamentals of Christian Education,” p. 27; “Testimonies for the Church,” Vol. 4, p. 361.( 3 SC, no.5-6, p.7)
Edstrom once again speaks of matters he has not weighed. Let’s follow his reasoning. Take the Scriptures, for instance, what was the early translation history?
“The evangelistic thrust of the early church gave impetus for many translations to impart thegospel to peoples in diverse language areas of the Roman Empire. Before A.D. 400 the Bible had been made available in Latin, Syriac, Coptic, Ethiopic, Armenian, and Georgian. The succeeding centuries brought still other translations.” (Source: Meadowbrook church/Translation history report)
Wait a minute! Who gave authorization to those translators to take and translate to Old and New Testament from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, and into Latin, Syriac, Coptic, Ethiopic, Armenian and Georgian and still other later translations including English?
Do we see the failed and myopic ideas coming from a man whose breath is in his nostrils? Total lunacy brethren! This is why we need to sink the shaft deep into the minefield of Truth with close reasoning and logical thinking. I guess you and I (English readers) should never have had the Bible given us, we are unauthorized to read them as they themselves are unauthorized translations. Sounds a bit like the old Roman Catholic priests forbidding the regular people to read Scripture — “You are unauthorized”.
It is clear that a private uninspired individual who is saying “They do not count” is speaking folly. To say “Brother Houteff” was the one to authorize translation is to say the same logic that the prophets should have given authorization for future translation, yet did not! Folly. It is God who has CONTROL of the Inspired messages and Who ultimately directs, controls, and authorizes.
The Bible counsel shows that such made-up controversy is nothing new, in fact Apostle Peter warned us through Inspiration —
“If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.” (1 Tim. 6:3-5)
What we have here is another false claim from a well-known “accuser of the brethren”. When we take the time and investigate and do logical thinking we see another attempt to blacken God’s workers and self-exalting oneself as some type of corrector of imagined heresies.
We find other evidence of our correct understanding in Tract 11, p.7 —
“All the generic terms, in the various languages, are designative of what God is, rather than of Who He is; in other words, these terms are the titles of His nature and character, rather than of His identity. Therefore, if they were not translated into the languages of the nations, they would be meaningless to the people.
From the combined evidences herein of Scripture, history, philology, and logic, we see clearly that the words, God, Lord, et al., were not originally, nor ever exclusively, the names of Baal, or of any other idol. Consequently there is
Nothing Wrong With God’s Titles in any Language.”
The same principle applies to the final message of Elijah –the SRod publications. There is absolutely nothing wrong with producing them in any language as long as strict fidelity is taken into account as to the same meaning of words from the English version. Additionally, only the original writings published by the prophet are translated (no new codes).
We know from a personal account that MANY have been blessed by our Pre-11th Hour ministry Spanish publications, videos and website. We do indeed plan on publishing the Rod in English as soon as our publishing department gets up and running.
In closing, will the Lord count this supposed “sighing and crying” for the sins done in the midst as righteous sighing and crying? Or a twisting of His message? Time will tell and we fear for those with such actions.
He wants The final message of Elijah, the Rod, translated into ALL languages as the leaves of Autumn. To say that all people of other languages must read it only in English is to shortchange God’s message and revert back to Pharisical thinking and censorship. God forbid. Pray for UPA7 and Edstrom, at this very late hour they sure need it.
Recently Eric Edstrom, head of UPA7 once again made a video “exposing” yours truly, concerning our reports on the King of the North study. Admittingly we have posted some possibly new views, or rather we should say overlooked views, from the message on this topic. So in order to be fair and critically look at what UPA7 has now brought up, we decided to address them as this will be helpful and clarify what the message indeed teaches here.
Edstrom makes three declarations.
1) Great Britain held the title of KON until around the end of world war 3
2) The title of KON transferred to the USA after the modern state of Israel was established in 1948
3) WLF, 8,9 identifying the United States as the last power that treads down the saints is correct
Let’s closely examine these points. First, the idea that GB relinquished her title of KON “around the end of world war 3” is not correct.
“The only portion of Daniel 11 yet to be fulfilled is this verse, the last of the chapter, and since these prophecies are made to be understood only when they are being fulfilled or after fulfillment, verse 45 is not as clear as we should like to have it. Consequently concerning the place of his tabernacles and his end, also as to whether another Christian power shall inherit the title “king of the north” before verse 45 is fulfilled, only time itself will positively portray the whole truth.” ( 2 TG, no.42, p.27) (Nov. 28, 1948)
We notice that even over 3 and half years after the cessation of the war (May 8, 1945) in November of 1948, the Rod still declares no transfer has occurred yet. It asks the question of whether someday the transfer will come or not. So point one falls short of the truth.
The second point states that after 1948 when the state of Israel was established, the KON transferred to the USA. This is based upon the supposed fact that since that time USA has ruled the holy land by “proxy” according to Edstrom. Their video describes how the USA’s Israel lobby is really pulling the strings of Israel. This we found truly an exercise in mental gymnastics. Our video at the end of this post will go more into this aspect.
For some reason, some think that “support” of Israel means –rulership. This cannot be held up by close reasoning and logical thinking as we are counseled in the Rod to do. Let us review how the message shows the key to knowing what is the identifying factor in holding the KON title.
“After the dividing of Alexander’s dominion, Egypt and Palestine were, as previously seen, ruled first, by the Ptolemies; second, by Pagan Rome (Dan. 11:15, 16); third, by the Dan. 11:22); and fourth, again by the Christians — specifically by Great Britain (Dan. 11:41). These are the only historically and prophetically recorded supersessions involving the ancient lands of Egypt and Palestine.The surrendering of these countries, by one prophetic king to the other, unmistakably identifies “the king of the north” and “the king of the south” from the time of the dividing of Alexander’s empire to the present time, and leaves no room for doubt or for argument .(Tract 12, p.86-87)
There has been no “surrendering” the holy land to the USA since 1948 , even to this day! The fact is that since the very beginning (1948) the land has been owned and ruled by the Zionists. Again our video explains this point and also connects Great Britain to the Zionist government via the defacto leaders of GB–the Rothschild dynasty.
So this is what is so fascinating, the Rod foretold of GB being the KON “in the time of the end” yet we didn’t know the details then like we know today.
“Since those who asked the questions agree with us that we are now living in the “time of the end,” we need not say more concerning that phase of the subject, but we do need to have them tell us which power at this particular time, in the time of the end, has added “the glorious land” (Palestine), Egypt, and other countries to his empire. The answer that anyone can give is that Great Britain took these from Turkey and has virtually ruled them ever since. Plainly then, during the time of the end Great Britain is the king of the north and Turkey is the king of the south.”( 1 TG, no. 4, p.22) AUGUST 31, 1946
Edstrom’s video did serve a purpose in that it enabled us to once again bring to light how the Rod describes the KON in more detail than what is commonly taught. For instance, we see two additional descriptions of “who” the KON is.
“Rome’s (the king of the north’s) entering a second time into “the glorious land” (Dan. 11:41), shows that though, as aforementioned it once took the land from the Ptolemies (Dan. 11:16) it later, in 633 A.D., lost it to the Turks, and in 1919 — “in the time of the end” wholly regained it. Here is simple proof that in modern times the Mohammedan rulers are in prophecy called the “king of the south,” while England’s kings, along with the disrupted family of Christianized kings whom prophecy says will not cleave one to another (Dan. 2:43), are called “king of the north.” (Tract 12, p.86-87) (1941)
“Because of idolatry, the Assyrian was permitted to take God’s ancient people and their pleasant land. And certain it is that the Assyrian will control the land just so long as God’s people continue in idolatry. But, just as soon as all idols are cast aside, — yes, as soon as the great revival and reformation takes place in the hearts of the people, — then the Assyrian (the power that now rules them) shall certainly fall, and God’s people shall just as certainly return.” (1 TG, no. 33, p.4-5)
“All these things definitely indicate the time in which “every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold,” the very thing that causes the fall of “the Assyrian,” the power which rules Jerusalem at the time God delivers His people (Isa. 31:7, 8).” (Tract 15, p.67 We see that not just Great Britain alone is KON today, but the “Christianized kings” and “the Assyrian” are KON as well. Not a simple study for sure! This is why, the message says —

Time has NOT portrayed the USA as “solely” the KON as plainly seen by the facts and history since that statement was made on Nov. 27, 1948. For Edstrom or any others to say the USA is today the sole KON, is blindly stating falsehood or ignorance, both of which prove they are not “rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15)
True, as we have said before, this is one of those lessons we have to “unlearn” as not only has UPA7 been snagged in this idea, other Davidians have as well. But that is ok, as long as we “turn ship” as they say, and admit our mistake and carry on with the Truth. But all too often pride rears its ugly head and no admission ever comes.
USA has largely been known as the “helper” of the KON, since the establishment of the modern state of Israel.
The statement, “He shall come to his end and none shall help him,” implies that someone has been helping him, and the world knows that it has been the United States of America. We therefore, find ourselves living in between verses 44, and 45 of Daniel eleven. (1 TG, no. 4, p.23-24)
Lastly, concerning the WLF statement that the USA is the “last power to tread down the saints” can be clarified from two angles. First, we know that the SOP did not have all the light of the kingdom and the final events. Whereas the Rod did have much more light. SOP did not see, obviously, that the KON is also known as ” Christianized kings” or “the Assyrian”. Certainly It did not see GB as KON like the Rod did.
Second, the Rod does show that in some way (again not too clear) the USA is to be the final KON and agrees with SOP, let us read —
“Michael is to stand up at the time that the last power in chap. 11, comes to his end, and none to help him. This power…is brought to view in Rev. 13:11-18. His number is 666.”—pp. 8, 9.
The above explains that the two-horned beast is the one to whom the number 666 belongs; and that this beast, of “Revelation 13:11-18,” and the “King of the North” of Daniel 11:45, are the same power. Therefore, the nation represented by this particular beast, and the “King of the North,” or the “man” who is to be the head—king—of that nation in the time when this “image beast” (the two-horned) enforces the worship of “his image,” whose image is nothing less than the thing he made, are to make a likeness of the religio-political system of the “beast before him” (the leopard-like of Revelation 13:1-10); that is, a likeness of the papal system in the period before the leopard-like beast received his deadly wound.” (2 SC, no. 1, p.8)
Obviously, the KON (here described as the “two-horned beast” USA) is to be around in the time when the USA enforces the mark of the beast. This can only be AFTER Ezekiel 9. Then he (KON) must come to his end post-Ezekiel 9. A tough study we know!
SUMMARY —
Great Britain is indeed the KON during this time, via the Zionist government rulership (see our video for more on this aspect). However, GB is not the sole KON as it is the leading part of the “Christianized kings” which includes the USA as well, the helper. Assyria today, which also includes the English speaking Christianized nations, is another description for the title —King of the North. This whole package is termed “King of the North”.
So we hope we clarified some of the details of this very interesting study and it is like we have continually spoken of before. Studying any topic, is like putting a puzzle together. First, you take ALL the references (pieces of the puzzle) and put them on the table. Then you go through them all. reviewing them all, they soon come together and you then can see the whole picture.
The session has now been completed and we are learning that the Mountain Dale association has declared an ultimatum upon its Bible workers and Ministers. In other words, a line has been drawn in the sand. A letter is being sent out requiring they sign it or else be let go. You must agree to teach —
1) The new codes are inspired and part of the Golden Bowl
2) Jacob’s time of trouble occurs prior to Ezekiel 9 and before the actual physical travel homeward to the kingdom
3) The Fundamental Beliefs are sequential except no. 5 and 7.
4) Assyrian Confederacy as taught from Don Adair down through the years is truth
You will be let go as a Bible worker and no longer employed by Mt. Dale if you refuse to sign. Therefore, some currently employed will very shortly be notified of their dismissal. They refuse to sign such error agreements!
“God has men in reserve, prepared to meet the demand, that His work may be preserved from all contaminating influences. God will be honored and glorified. When the divine Spirit impresses the mind of the man appointed by God as fit for the work, he responds, saying, “Here am I; send me.” … Nehemiah showed himself to be a man whom God could use to put down false principles and to restore heaven-born principles; and God honored him. The Lord will use in His work men who are as true as steel to principle, who will not be swayed by the sophistries of those who have lost their spiritual eyesight.” (Review and Herald, May 2, 1899)
However, because of this stance now taken by a select few leaders at Mt. Dale, there appears a GREAT opportunity for a long hoped for –revival and reformation in our midst! A group of like-minded brethren who want to proclaim God’s final message of Elijah WITHOUT man or woman (Adair and Florence) additions, subtractions, and false prophecies. This pent-up spiritual hunger is very prevalent in Davidia today. Additionally, Mother no longer needs to be led into confusion.
So many brethren are at wit’s end as to where to go. You have on one side, Lennox Sam perverting the Rod by claiming VTH was not the last prophet to come before Ezek. 9. You have Bashan teaching all kinds of strange fire doctrines. You have both Mt. Dale and Waco teaching the new codes are inspired and part of the Golden Bowl. You have individuals teaching God has abandoned centralized organized work for independent work. And so on.
Stay tuned, a gathering is coming. One that will lift up our King in Word and deed. One that wants to proclaim the Rod as published by the prophet and authorized by He who has appointed it.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” ( 2 Chronicles 7:14)
